The Jags’ trip to St Mirren will complete the quartet of cup clashes, with Mark Wilson's boys getting a tutorial in what to expect with VAR tuned in tomorrow night.

The Firhill club haven't been to a semifinal in this competition in almost a quarter of a century but in players such as Ashcroft and Tony Watt, they've plenty of know-how.

Former Dundee defender Ashcroft said: “We've got boys who have experienced this (stage) and boys experiencing it for the first time.

“We've talked about VAR, so there are new things involved. But we're really looking forward to it. It’s a great occasion for the club, hopefully we go out there and do ourselves proud.
