Star hailed by charity on twins' fight

SINGER Jesy Nelson has been praised by a charity for opening up about her twin babies' severe genetic condition.

The former Little Mix star revealed her seven-month-old daughters Ocean and Story have rare SMA type 1 (spinal muscular atrophy) and may never be able to walk.

The 34-year-old said in an emotional video: "The last few months have honestly been the most heartbreaking time of my life.

"I almost feel like I'm grieving a life that I thought I was going to have with my children."
