SIR ALASTAIR COOK says Ben Stokes should be celebrated as one of the best England cricket captains in history as he prepares to lead the side for Ashes glory in Australia.
Stokes has led the England Test team since 2022 and the all-rounder has one of the highest win-percentage rates in England history, with success in 22 out of his 37 Tests as captain.
