But the Scotland cap isn't for slowing down as he targets many more games for the Fir Park side.

Now in his sixth season with Well, the 33-year-old right-back from Bellshill in North Lanarkshire is relishing life under boss Jens Berthel Askou.

He’ had opportunities to move but stayed as he enjoys the club.

Former Partick Thistle, Luton and Kilmarnock man O'Donnell said: “This is the club I've played the most for bya good stretch.

“I've been here the longest, played under multiple managers now and enjoy it.

“It’s close to home and when I've had opportunities to leave, I haven't because I see it as a club I want to be part of, see projects and buy into the manager's belief.

“Tm getting a bit older and things can change contract-wise but I'm still really enjoying it.

“There are good people around the place.

“Now it’s easy to see there's a project here that people want to be part of.
