STEVEN PRESSLEY admits Dundee are still struggling to fill a huge hole in their squad and fears it could cost the club dear.

The Dark Blues lost midfielders Lyall Cameron, Josh Mulligan, Jordan McGhee and Mo Sylla to Rangers, Hibs, Motherwell and Livingston respectively.

Pressley is desperate to replace them but continues to be frustrated and is no closer to finding reinforcements.

The Dens boss, who watched his side lose their Premiership opener to Hibs on Sunday, said: "It's an area where we're really short. We're aware of that, we just can't quite get anything over the line at present that we think is right for us.

"The type of profile we want, we've spoken to a number of players who have chosen other options. It's not been through finance, it's just decisions that they want to go to that club."
