Victim speaks out to help other women after manipulative brute was sent to prison for the sickening crime

A WOMAN has spoken of her horror at finding out she had been sexually assaulted by her partner while sleeping after discovering a video on his phone a year later.

Sophie Gorman, 24, had been with Joshua Adams for 18 months when the vile incident took place.

She had gone back to his home after a night out before believing she had gone to sleep in a place of safety in 2019.

But the following year, the care assistant, from Dunfermline, was innocently looking through his phone to get pictures from a day out they spent together when she came across the sick recording along with another video of a 15-year-old child being secretly filmed at a house party.

Adams, 26, admitted at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court to having sex with Sophie without her consent, as well as recording the teen on his phone and zooming in on her lower half.

In July, he was jailed for two years and placed on the sex offenders register.
