Sacking Murray will harm Labour

ANGELA Rayner did the right thing when she resigned from the UK Government yesterday.

She may have made an honest mistake when it came to paying the correct amount of stamp duty when buying a flat on England's south coast.

But as housing secretary, she must be expected to follow the letter of the law when it comes to buying or selling a home, regardless of how complicated the rules.

A Labour government must act with integrity — and be seen to do so ~ at all times.
