Thelin says Polvara can be key
JIMMY THELIN has challenged Euro hero Dante Polvara to show that he can become a big player for Aberdeen.
The American has produced some impressive displays off the bench this season - and came up with another with a goal in the 2-2 comeback draw with FCSB at Pittodrie on Thursday.
Thelin labelled his goal "top level" and has challenged Polvara to bring that standard into his game on a more consistent basis - starting with Thursday's in the Europa League playoff return leg in Bucharest.
The Aberdeen boss said: "Dante has shown for some weeks and some performances inside games that his form is coming back.
"He is strong and can do something extra, something on his own. He can bring that creativity - and the way he scored the goal against FCSB was totally top level.
