Cops race to national landmark and huckle visitor who got caught short and took a leak in front of tourists

COPS stormed the famous Wallace Monument and arrested a man for peeing at the top of the tower.

Officers raced to the landmark in Stirling after shocked tourists called them after the man decided to have a leak.

A police van and car with sirens blaring arrived at the scene with six officers and nicked the offender at the top of the 220ft tower.

The monument is a shrine to freedom fighter William Wallace - whose cry of "Freedom!" was made famous in the Braveheart movie.

One eyewitness said: "The blue lights were flashing and it all looked quite dramatic for a quiet Sunday afternoon.
