Exhausted seabird found in garden 110 miles from coast
A PUFFIN has been found more than 100 miles away from her natural coastal habitat.
The shattered seabird is believed to have been blown off course before landing in a garden in landlocked Hereford, where the concerned homeowner took her to a vet.
It is believed the puffin was trying to get back to the cliffs of Skomer or Skokholm Island in Pembrokeshire, Wales 110 miles away.
The weak and underweight bird, nicknamed Oona, was nursed back to health with a specialised formula.
