Liam made first move to pave way for reunion

LIAM Gallagher has admitted being a "soft lad" and offering an olive branch to his brother Noel to set up the Oasis reunion.

The singer, 51, said he was the one who picked up the phone to patch things up after years of fighting.

It is thought he was encouraged by mum Peggy, partner Debbie and guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs.

Asked who called first, him or Noel, Liam jokingly wrote on X: "I called him but don't tell anyone as I don't want folk thinking I'm a soft lad and stuff, keep it between me n you cheers x."
