Mum's relief but unease at fuel cost

A MOTHER of three says Rachel Reeves’ Budget will cut her household bills ~ but could cost her more on fuel for her car.

Pauline Rice, from Dundee, is mum to 10-year-old triplets Oliver, Olivia and Bella and works for a carers’ charity.

The single mum, 46, welcomed the promised cuts to energy bills and the freeze on fuel duty until next year, but said she will carefully plan ahead for spending extra cash at the pumps in future.

She said: “Energy and fuel are two of my biggest bills.

"We have a three-bedroom house and my daughter was born with lung disease so tends to feel the cold more than her siblings.
