SCOTLAND'S Health Secretary has insisted John Swinney's plan for walk-in health centres will not replace the traditional model of GP surgeries.

- BY CHRIS MCCALL

Neil Gray described the pledge to open 15 new clinics which will be open seven days a week, from noon-8pm - as a "building a different way" for Scots to access healthcare.

But he was unable to say where the walk-in centres would be located or how long it will take for the full network to open.
