HIBS boss David Gray hailed Jamie McGrath for taking one for the team after playing out of position without any hesitation.
Attacking midfielder McGrath was asked to occupy the left wing-back role against Falkirk on Saturday with both Jordan Obita and Nicky Cadden missing through injury.
And the Irishman, who is more used to playing centrally, did it without fuss to help the Leith side claim a 3-0 win.
