BRAD LYONS knows blowing a two-goal lead at home to newly- promoted Livingston will be viewed as a huge setback at the start of the league season.

But the skipper has backed the new-look Kilmarnock side to turn it into a good point by winning at Hibs on Sunday.

Stuart Kettlewell has assembled a team that is very different from the one who ended last term under Derek McInnes, with the former Motherwell boss bringing in 10 new recruits.

Two of the new boys had a major impact in the game after Dutch striker Djenairo Daniels gave Killie a first-half lead that was quickly added to by David Watson.

But his fellow league debutant George Stanger changed the game entirely when he was adjudged to have tugged Robbie Muirhead back in the box midway into the second half.

And when the ex-Killie striker rattled in the resulting spot-kick, there were plenty of nervy folk of a Rugby Park persuasion on and off the pitch.
