KEVIN KILBANE is utterly convinced Celtic will be landing an "exceptional" manager when they green light Wilfried Nancy.
The 110-cap Republic of Ireland legend has unique insight into the embryonic stage of Nancy's development in management at Montreal after he emigrated to Canada in 2016.
And Kilbane believes Nancy possesses the chops to thrive both technically and mentally in the Glasgow goldfish bowl.
Nancy is on the brink of being unveiled by Celtic as the permanent successor to Brendan Rodgers.
But interim boss Martin O'Neill appears in pole position to be in the dugout for tomorrow night's clash with St Mirren.
Kilbane said: "I've seen a lot of him. Wilfried Nancy was at CF Montreal before he went to Columbus.
