Light work as mum of two drops 18st
A MUM who lost more than 18 stone began losing weight in a bid to have IVF treatment before becoming pregnant with miracle babies.
Mum-of-two Claire Kane, 40, went from almost 30st in 2016 to just 10st 11.5lb, losing more than half her body weight.
Claire, from Airdrie, was named Slimming World's Woman of the Year 2025 after swapping frozen chips and family-sized chocolate bars for ham salads and chicken fajitas.
After marrying Aaron in 2009, the couple knew they wanted to start a family but seven years of infertility followed as a result of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis.
In a bid to qualify for IVF treatment, Claire turned to Slimming World in 2016 and, nine months later and eight stone lighter, she miraculously became pregnant with first child Olivia.
