Craig in no rush to leave to boost his World Cup hopes

- BY DARREN JOHNSTONE

CRAIG GORDON insists he has no plans for a January exit at Hearts - and insists the league leaders can't be distracted by Wilfried Nancy's departure at Celtic.

The Scotland keeper has not had a single minute of club action for the Jambos this term with Alexander Schwolow in possession of the gloves.

As well as playing his part in their incredible title charge behind the scenes, the 43-year-old is also still dreaming of being involved in next summer's World Cup after starring in Scotland's stunning qualifying win over Denmark last month.

Going out on loan could help but the former Celtic and Sunderland shot-stopper admits boss Derek McInnes does not want him to lose him.

Gordon said: “You can never say never, who knows? The manager doesn't want me to leave and the team's doing so well at the moment.
