Record £125m Alex deal takes Reds spend past £450m but they miss out on Guehi
LIVERPOOL last night took their spending this summer to over £450million as they landed Alexander Isak but missed out on Marc Guehi on a dramatic deadline day.
The Reds finally brokered a British record £125m deal to land striker Isak from Newcastle.
He said: “I feel amazing. It's been along journey to get here. But I'm super-happy to be a part of this team, this club and everything it stands for. It’s somethingI'm proud of and I'm looking forward to it.
“T'm just happy it’s done and that I can get back to work. I'm looking forward to seeing my teammates and the fans, and getting back out there.
