Bride solves mystery of stranger at big day after four years

A BRIDE has solved the riddle of a mystery man who crashed her wedding after a Facebook appeal.

Michelle Wylie was shocked when she and hubby John looked back at pictures of their ceremony and realised that neither of them knew who one of the guests was.

Bewildered Michelle, 38, contacted all her friends and family, the venue - the Carlton Hotel, in Prestwick, Ayrshire and even the photographer and suppliers to see if they could shed any light on the guest.

But nobody knew who he was or how he came to be at the 2021 nuptials.

Now, nearly four years on, Michelle has finally got the answer she was looking for.

The man in question, Andrew Hillhouse, had been invited to a wedding that same day.

But he turned up at Michelle and John's by accident, as his partner had told him the wrong venue. Andrew, 33 revealed himself as the mystery guest on Facebook following an appeal by YouTuber, foodie and Scots television star Dazza earlier this week.
