SINGER Myleene Klass says she wants to put her star status to better use by saving more lives as a St John Ambulance volunteer.

The ex-Hear'Say star, 47, has already saved her two daughters in choking incidents and came to the rescue of a man during an alert earlier this year.

Yesterday, she said: “I always want to learn. I have a platform and I can use that to get a nice table at a restaurant or to genuinely make a difference.

“And I am changing lives for people. I feel that responsibility as a mother that I want my children to see what I do. I want to learn how to drive an ambulance, that’s what is next.”
