Domhnall Gleeson and Sabrina Impacciatore are warring journalists in new mockumentary comedy series The Paper

- WORDS: JO BERRY

The documentarians who chronicled the lives of the staff of Scranton’s Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in the US version of The Office have now set their cameras up at the Toledo Truth Teller, a failing local Midwestern paper, in new mockumentary comedy series The Paper.

Idealistic Ned Sampson (Domhnall Gleeson) is starting his new job there as editor-in-chief and immediately clashes with Esmeralda Grand (Sabrina Impacciatore), who has been running the paper's clickbait-filled website and is determined to do everything she can to make his life difficult.

"Ned's relationship with Esmeralda is complicated from the off because he’s been given this position ahead of her,” said Irish star Domhnall, 42.
