Party peer highlights concerns over further tax rises in Budget
SCOTTISH Labour's top donor has demanded a "reset" from the UK Government after claiming they have failed to deliver economic growth.
Lord Haughey also said he was "concerned" about the prospect of more tax rises in Labour's November Budget.
Labour swept to power on a promise of making growth their top priority but business leaders have slammed Prime Minister Keir Starmer for his policies.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves hiked national insurance costs for employers in her first Budget - making it more expensive for firms to hire staff.
She faces having to fill another black hole in November with new tax rises, with national insurance charges on rental income reportedly being considered.
Haughey, who set up the successful City Refrigeration in 1985, issued a critical assessment of Labour' first 15 months.
