GONZALO GARCIA opened his La Liga account with a hat-trick to inspire Real Madrid to a thumping 5-1 win over Real Betis.

Filling in for Kylian Mbappe, sidelined with a knee injury, Garcia headed the home side ahead in the 20th minute.
His second was a stunner, controlling on his chest, then volleying past Betis keeper Alvaro Valles to double the home side's lead five minutes after the break.
Raul Asencio piled on the misery for Manuel Pellegrini’s side with a header six minutes later, his first senior goal.
