ANDREW must check in with aides if he wants to visit his old mansion

- BY RUSSELL MYERS and JENNIFER NEWTON

ANDREW Mountbatten-Windsor has been told he must inform officials if he wants to return to his former Windsor home to collect his final belongings.

The disgraced former prince was this week told by the King to leave his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion after heaping further shame on the Royal Family following his appearances in the latest Epstein files.

They include an email from Jeffrey Epstein's former lover Ghislaine Maxwell confirming the infamous photo of Andrew with his arm around his accuser Virginia Giuffre was in fact genuine.

Andrew must now tell royal aides whenever he is returning to the monarch's Berkshire estate, instead of returning as he pleases.

Andrew, who was in October stripped of all titles and honours by the King, left Royal Lodge in a hurry on Tuesday evening, leaving behind many belongings.

Sources say he will have to return to collect them, but may only do so after making an official request and appointment.

One insider said: “It's the latest in a long line of indignities for him [Andrew].

“The King was not amused in the slightest that his brother was seen out riding in Windsor and driving around the estate, waving to passersby, while the Epstein scandal was reaching more depths over the last few days.

“Andrew left quite a few belongings behind, so he will have to return and collect them, but may only do so by strict appointment.”
