Family join rally to end custody fatalities

- BY NORMAN SILVESTER

A GRIEVING sister has demanded answers over the mystery prison death of her older brother.

Christopher Masson died in his cell at Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow after a seizure more than 18 months ago

But his family say they have been left in the dark by the prison authorities over what caused him to lose his life.

The 39-year-old, of Pollok in Glasgow, only had 10 days left of his sentence when he had the seizure in a cell he shared with another prisoner.

The cellmate called for help but Christopher died soon after, despite attempts by staff to revive him.
