AUSTRALIA has become the first country where the King is head of state to say it will back any proposal to boot Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the line of royal succession.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese made the pledge to support Keir Starmer's government's plan to remove the former prince as eighth in line to the throne following his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
