African stars away is no fear for Gray

DAVID GRAY insists his Hibs squad is big enough to handle losing three players to the Africa Cup of Nations next month.

Rocky Bushiri, Jordan Obita and Miguel Chaiwa are all set to compete at the tournament in Morocco with DR Congo, Uganda and Zambia respectively.

The first game kicks off on December 21 with the group campaign finishing on Hogmanay.

The trio will at least miss games against Dundee United, Hearts and Aberdeen and should they progress beyond the groups then Gray will be without them for even longer.

But the Easter Road boss is confident he has enough cover to compensate for their absence.
