Arena victim mum hails terror law for venues

CRUCIAL anti-terror guidance aimed at preventing another atrocity like the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing is to be released within weeks.

Home Office chiefs will publish advice on how tens of thousands of venues, from music arenas and football stadiums to schools and community centres, can implement Martyn's Law.

The landmark legislation is named in memory of Manchester Arena victim Martyn Hett, 29, who was one of 22 killed by a suicide bomber after an Ariana Grande concert.

Martyn's Law will require venues with a capacity of more than 200 to have plans in place to prevent terror attacks.
