BANGOR will mark 1,500 years of history with a festival celebrating the city's heritage and culture.

TWO-DAY FESTIVAL TO MARK CITY'S 1,500 YEARS OF HERITAGE

Bangor Cathedral will be among the venues hosting the History Festival to mark the city's 1,500-year heritage

Later this month, the city will take centre stage in a vibrant celebration of its past, present, and future with the Bangor History Festival.

The festival will be commemorating 1,500 years since the founding of Wales' oldest city.

Held at the Pontio Arts and Innovation Centre, Bangor University's Main Arts Building, Storiel and Bangor Cathedral, the two-day festival promises a rich programme of workshops, discussions, interactive exhibitions and guest talks. They are all designed to bring Bangor's extraordinary history to life.
