THIEVES STOLE MOTORBIKES AND WENT ON CRIME SPREE

TWO thieves stole vehicles and went on a crime spree.

Craig Lloyd and Raymond Williams pinched two motorbikes, burgled a tanning studio and damaged property.Lloyd, 37, of Greenwood Avenue, Maesgeirchen, Bangor, and Williams, 30, of Pen y Bryn Road, Maesgeirchen, admitted theft, burglary and causing criminal damage.

But a judge at Caernarfon Crown Court said both had improved their behaviour and there is a realistic prospect of rehabilitation.

Prosecutor Amy Edwards said a Brendan Alford reported the theft of his £1,200 blue Yamaha bike to police on June 6, 2023.

Officers used automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) and other methods to find it was the defendants who had stolen the motorbike.
