The personal touch that helped clinch key man for Red Dragons

WREXHAM chief executive Michael Williamson has shared how adopting a “traditional” approach aided the club in securing a crucial signing.
The Red Dragons recently confirmed the acquisition of Manchester City defender Callum Doyle on a four-year contract that could reportedly be worth up to £8million. The Championship newcomers, owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, successfully fended off competition from several rivals to sign the highly-regarded 21-year-old.
Doyle made his debut for Wrexham on Tuesday night, helping them stage a comeback to defeat Preston North End 3-2 at Deepdale in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The England Under-21 international delivered an impressive performance, with a late goal from Wales striker Kieffer Moore securing victory for Phil Parkinson's team.
