Strikes at Airbus are called off after new pay offer
Daily Post
|August 30, 2025
INDUSTRIAL action planned at aerospace manufacturer Airbus has been delayed after the company presented an enhanced pay and pensions proposal.
-
However, if the new proposal is rejected, strike action could still go ahead at the end of the month.
Unite union members at facilities in Broughton, Flintshire, and Filton near Bristol had been scheduled to strike next week. Staff had originally voted to strike in July due to a dispute over their latest pay offer.
Overall, 95 per cent of union members voted in favour of strikes on an 80 per cent turnout.
