the mum of two. “But beyond that, reading the script felt much more personal and even invasive, seeing all these locations we know so well - places like Zara's flat on Columbia Road, the Scalpel - all these spots we've grown up with being taken over by criminals, whether it’s the gang or whoever it might be. It felt very intense.
“Even though it’s not strictly contemporary, it felt very current to me, especially as I’d just moved back to London. I have a real passion for the city, and seeing it kind of torn up on the page was genuinely exciting.”
Londoner Archie, 30, who plays Zara's best friend, says of Steal: “It felt very modern, and I realised I hadn't done something like this before - something that involved wearing a suit and having a real job.
“It felt very current, and the writing was just the kind of rhythm that really gripped me.”
