School staff member and RAF Air Cadet instructor unmasked as 'predator'

A FORMER RAF Air Cadet instructor and Anglesey school worker who abused two boys has been jailed for four years.

Jonathan Evans was jailed at Caernarfon Crown Court yesterday for a string of sexual offences.

The court heard Evans, of Breeze Hill, Malltraeth, Anglesey, "cupped his hands" over one victim's genitals.

The judge Her Honour Nicola Jones noted the victim initially thought it was "banter" but later realised it was "abuse".

Evans also sent explicit photos of himself on Snapchat to another victim and repeatedly asked for naked images of them. In a statement, the first victim said he had suffered "emotional stress".

The abuse had affected him "mentally, emotionally, socially and professionally". Anna Price, defending, said there had been an "abuse of trust" and also a "degree of immaturity".
