POLICE have slammed irresponsible drivers parking on zigzag lines outside schools.

Officers in Conwy condemned the behaviour as “shockingly unacceptable” and warned parents they need to start “saving up” to pay hefty fines if they continue.

Members of the West Conwy Coastal policing team have been visiting schools to crack down on illicit parking. Their patch covers Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Llanfairfechan, Penmaenmawr and surrounding areas,
