Anglesey is named happiest place to live in Wales with Llandudno close behind

ANGLESEY is the happiest place to live in Wales according to homeowners.

More than 19,500 people took part in Rightmove's 2025 happy at home survey. The market town of Skipton in North Yorkshire was the happiest place to live in the UK according to those who responded.

Stirling was named as the happiest place in Scotland, with Anglesey topping the list in Wales.

The seaside resort of Llandudno also made the top five in Wales.

Ann Evans Jones, director at Morgan Evans in Anglesey, said: “Anglesey is a beautiful setting and has so much to offer, including stunning coastal walks, beautiful beaches for relaxing and water activities.”

Llandudno is one of the UK’s most stunning seaside towns - with a sweep of hotels along the seafront nestled between the Great Orme and Little Orme.
