JUDGE FEARS HE WILL BREACH COMMUNITY ORDER BUT TELLS HIM 'PROVE ME WRONG'
A Wrexham man brandished a hammer and a golf club in a confrontation with his cousin.
Nathan Teasdale, 30, of Bryn yr Onnen, Southsea, Wrexham, admitted affray. Yesterday a judge at Mold Crown Court gave him a two-year community order with conditions.
Daniel Hoskins, who is the defendant's cousin, had been at home at 9.30am on January 23 when he heard something and saw Teasdale in his back garden.
He ignored him, the court heard.
Later at 12.40pm he saw the defendant banging on a window holding a hammer and a golf club.
Teasdale was shouting to Mr Hoskins to “get outside” said prosecutor Emmalyne Downing.
Mr Hoskins came out and Teasdale accused him of sleeping with his girlfriend which Mr Hoskins denied.
Teasdale swung the hammer towards Mr Hoskins who stepped back to avoid it.
