SHARP eyed drivers and passengers on the A55 may have noticed a boarded-up property on the edge of the A55. It is located at Green Gates farm near the eastbound carriageway close to St Asaph.

Under proposals it will not be there long with nature enhancing plans for the site and wider area.

This will see the property demolished in the near future.

Due to its proximity to the expressway there will be a lane closure in place for the work to be carried out.

There is no set date as yet for when this will take place but they've promised to avoid peak times.

A letter to Denbighshire council said: "Demolition works will be timed to take place after peak traffic movements with a lane one closure to slow traffic and create a safe buffer zone. After initial demolition of the structures to ground level, these traffic measures will not be required."
