GREEN LIGHT FOR 3G FOOTBALL PITCH PLAN AT SCHOOL

A GRASS playing field traditionally used for athletics and rounders at Ysgol Bryn Alyn is to be transformed into a plastic 3G football pitch.

Plans submitted by Wrexham County Borough Council and the Cymru Football Foundation to transform the field between the high school and Gwyn Evans Leisure Centre will see the turf replaced with a synthetic 3G playing surface creating a full-sized football pitch.

The new facility, which will be available for hire, will also have floodlights installed and perimeter fencing.
