Franculino Dju was first linked to the Blues in the summer and has since had a storming start to the season - hitting 13 goals in 13 games at the start of Denmark's Superliga.
He also has two goals in his side's Europa League campaign.
Reports from multiple Danish media outlets, from Bold to Campo, state Everton have had scouts in attendance at the 21-year-old's games this season.
They are said to have been joined by representatives from Bologna and other clubs from across Europe.
