11-hour warning of ice in force for N.Wales

AN 11-hour warning for ice has been issued for North Wales, as temperatures plunge.

The yellow alert came into effect at midnight and lasts until 11am this morning (Wednesday) covering Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy and Gwynedd.
Other parts of Wales and the UK are also under yellow alerts for ice, and snow and ice, over the next two days.
People have been warned of potential ice patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, across the region. There may also be injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
