A crisis unfolds during the series

If you're feeling unsettled by the unstoppable rise of AI, then watching BBC One's thriller The Capture will make your imagination run riot.

Holliday Grainger returns as Rachel Carey, who is now acting commander of the Counter Terrorism Command, tasked with regaining the public's trust in surveillance technology through the new Operation Veritas camera system.

But when a brutal terror attack strikes, Rachel finds herself drawn into an unfolding geopolitical crisis and comes across a new conspiracy which expands deep into the heart of the British establishment.

Writer Ben Chanan explains, “Series one asked ‘Can you trust CCTV?’ Series two asked ‘Can you trust the news?’, and series three asks ‘Can you trust your own eyes?’”
