Prince recalls life as newlyweds in heartfelt tribute to Welsh 'family'

PRINCE William took a trip down memory lane yesterday as he recalled how he and Kate made Wales their home as newlyweds.

Speaking at the Wales Investment Summit, the Prince of Wales said the couple were welcomed by the “warmth and belonging” of the people of Anglesey and that he was honoured he could champion the nation.

He and the princess lived on the island from 2010 to 2013 when he was stationed at RAF Valley as a search and rescue helicopter pilot.
