I PLAYED against Greece in Athens on December 18, 1994 in a European Championship qualifier, but then I quit.

Regrets? Not at the time, not when I remembered what the Scottish FA had done to me.

Even years later I was still not happy at the 12-game ban the SFA gave me before the John McStay court case was heard.

We got it reduced to five games on appeal but that wasn’t the point.
