WHY are world leaders standing silently on the sidelines watching the daily genocide in Gaza and why are the people of Israel not protesting? With their history, they of all people know the horrors of ethnic cleansing.

Step up pressure to end blockade

The daily bombing, shooting, and starving of innocent women and children by Netanyahu and his gang of out-of-control thugs is truly sickening.

What happened 80 years ago was horrendous. What happened in October 2023 was horrendous and what the Israelis are doing now is equally horrendous.

B Evans, Rhondda Cynon Taf

■Netanyahu implies people either back evil Hamas or they give carte blanche to Israel to carry on blitzing the two million people of Gaza.

How can he not see this is genocide? His logic is straight out of Alice in Wonderland.

The health of vast numbers of children is also being destroyed by Israel's war. Finally some long overdue criticism is voiced by the UK and other countries. But it is not loud enough.

Duncan Hartley Solihull, West Midlands

■It takes great moral courage in this climate for leaders to speak out on the atrocities in Gaza.
