Christine McGuinness says ex Paddy knew of her sexuality

CHRISTINE McGuinness' close relationship with singer Chelcee Grimes sparked rumours about her love life after her split from her TV star husband Paddy.

And now she has spoken out about her sexuality for the first time, saying it is no secret that she has dated women as well as men.

The former model, 37, said: “It shouldn't matter [about] somebody's gender. It never mattered to me.

“Which was why once me and my ex-husband were separated and I met people, I didn't properly date.

“It was more like it blurred the lines of friendships for me... that was normal. It felt comfortable because I'd done that as a teenager.

“I, as a teenager, dated both men and women.”

SPECULATION

Following her split from Paddy after 11 years of marriage, Christine struck up a friendship with Chelcee, 33, who has written songs for Kylie Minogue and Dua Lipa, and came out as a lesbian in 2021.

They met while taking part in ITV show The Games in 2022.
