Axel Rudakubana bought the Black Panther Kukri machete, which had a 16.5in blade, from the Knife Warehouse in October 2023, when he was still 17.

He was able to buy the weapon with a driving licence registered to a man in his 60s living in Uxbridge, West London, 200 miles from the delivery address, which was Rudakubana’s family home in Banks, Lancs.
