Phoney Farage's big sign to leave

BREXIT was the biggest own goal in British history. Keir Starmer’s attempts to build bridges with our European neighbours and biggest trading bloc should be welcomed by any sane person who has struggled through the pain that Boris Johnson's “oven-ready deal” has inflicted upon our economy.

One of the big players in conning people to vote for Brexit was Nigel “Man of the People” Farage, who now has ambitions on becoming prime minister by claiming Reform UK to be the party for workers.

Farage is as much a friend of the working people as Putin is a friend of Ukraine and we should be very wary of trusting this mini-Trump.

Despite the rhetoric of the right-wing media, Labour are making in-roads into the mess left by 14 years of Tory ineptitude, and repairing relationships with Europe is a very important move.

I wasn't surprised to learn a poll put Starmer, Badenoch, and Davey ahead of Reform’s Nigel Farage as the choice to be the nation’s PM.

It's clear Farage’s popularity isn't stacking up too well and the public aren't won over.
