Lawrence champing at bit after missing Bath treble

OLLIE LAWRENCE was green with envy this time last year and has set his heart on making up for lost time as Bath chase European glory.

The centre, who lines up in tomorrow's daunting Champions Cup semifinal against holders Bordeaux-Begles, was a bystander last season as his pals landed a treble.

Lawrence ruptured an Achilles in England's 47-24 Six Nations win over Italy last year, an injury that wrecked the rest of his season and dashed his hopes of a Lions tour.

The 26-year-old was forced to watch as teammates celebrated winning the Prem, the Prem Cup and the second-tier European Challenge Cup (right) and is determined not to miss out this time.
